At Primavera, we have students with incredible talents and those in the Art Club are no exception! That’s why we created the Art Club’s Corner where you can view fellow Panthers’ submitted artwork, comment and share.

This month, we received some incredible, realistic artwork of people in their natural elements. Our first artist is club member Kate Gallagher who enjoys working with different types of art.

“I am an impressionist and all of my work is hand done with paints or charcoal. My work is also all free styled off the top of my head. Some of my art looks more realistic because I do enjoy realism, but I also love the whimsical look of impressionism.”

Kate also shared with some of her impressionistic paintings. Be sure to keep an eye out for more of her artwork at the Art Club’s Corner!

Our next artist is Daisy Acevedo, who got her inspiration for her drawing called “Clarity” from a simple, everyday task.

“I was doing my makeup one day and decided to attempt drawing my own (eye). I used… (a) pencil, print paper and a brush to shade in.”
