At Primavera, we have students with incredible talents and those in the Art Club are no exception! That’s why we created the Art Club’s Corner where you can view fellow Panthers’ submitted artwork, comment and share.
This month, we received artwork that was mostly done in pencil. Our students played around with colors, textures and different objects to really showcase the world around us.
Our first artist is club member Mina Black who decided to illustrate patterns in a different way.
“Not just your ordinary pattern! ‘Power Mandala’ was created using colored pencils and a smudge stick.”
Jayde Kolb also used a pencil approach in her drawing.
“I used a graphite pencil with some added color using colored pencils. I drew it because I wanted to do a time lapse piece and I like the beauty of being born into something beautiful—which to me symbolizes a rose.”
And lastly, we have Nova Saiz who decided to share with us more than a pencil drawing; it’s a different way to portray her cat.
“This is a picture of my Cat Lily. She looked really adorable when she was sleeping so I decided to draw a picture of her. At first I only used pencil, but eventually I decided to underline it with a light marker and then color the picture in with a black colored pencil. I drew this a long time ago, it was Christmas Eve of 2013.”
“Create. Share. Learn. Art. Where Primavera Art Club does its thing!”
