Amy_BockThe time is here to announce this week’s teacher spotlight! Primavera would like to welcome Mrs. Amy Bock, a new Science teacher for Primavera Online middle school. With having a bachelor degree in Botany and a master’s degree in education, Mrs. Bock was looking into teaching experiments in a virtual classroom.  By doing this, she feels it allows her to have uninterrupted one on one attention with her students. Ms. Bock encourages students to think, by showing them a positive prospective on how to do experiments. She especially likes the Adobe sessions that teachers provide for students on the computer to help students with specific projects.

Mrs. Bock uses positive reinforcement to encourage her students. She tells the students what they are doing right instead of what they are doing wrong. Mrs. Bock takes the time to get to know her students, to understand their personal obligations. By doing this, she is able to give her students positive suggestions on submitting their work in on time. Mrs. Bock likes to be hands on with the students. She will show video clips that relate to the topic as well as uses adobe sessions to make visuals for the students to undoubtfully understand how science works.
