We had a blast at our bi-annual Casting Call on Friday, February 15th. We wanted to end the day with an awesome surprise, so we organized a filming of the newest internet craze (The Harlem Shake) featuring Primavera’s groovy mascot, Peyton. Enjoy!

I have really enjoyed this new Psp that launched and I want to say that tech support was nice on resovling my issues today so I was also impressed at that becausae most schools arent event that nice to me so I want to say thanks for all tech supports help.
The launch definitely affected my sons progress. We are working twice as hard and his grades are not updated… Not sure “where he’s at at this point and the goal was to promote timely to ninth grade.
The launch should of been done during down time or between sessions, During AIMS was regretfully the worse time.
I agree, updating the web-page should have been done during aims, or even during summer break. If kids are already struggling to catch up, they lost not only Monday and Tuesday, but some kids work during the weekend, so they actually lost 4 whole days.
This was a very bad call Primavera. Kids will now have to double up on doubling up if they were behind in the first place. How does that help the struggling students who go to your school because they typically have difficulty in traditional schools? Very stressful situation you have created.
Website attractive….timing poor!
Thank you for the update, and I want to extend my appreciation to your technical support team and my daughter’s teachers and student advisor for their professional, courteous response and follow-up. I am an IT Manager, so I certainly understand how implementations can be bumpy during the initial rollout. Primavera is an outstanding school, and we look forward to another exciting and outstanding year!
For starters, I would just like to thank you all for your feedback. We understand that this has been an incredibly frustrating week for our students and needless to say it has been a learning experience for us. Unfortunately, with Primavera offering classes throughout the year, there really isn’t an ideal time to try implementing a new software system like this where students would not be affected. We did not, however, anticipate the kind of technical issues we experienced earlier this week but I am very proud of our development team for responding with the quick fixes they were able to install.
Students will not be penalized for the site’s unexpected downtime. We are more than willing to supply them with the appropriate amount of additional time to complete their assignments and urge all Primavera students to contact their teachers and student advisors for immediate help. If you have any other questions about the launch, please feel free to ask. I’m more than willing to address any concerns you may have.
Thank you again for your continued support of Primavera Online Middle School.
