HELPING STUDENTS BECOME COLLEGE AND CAREER READY
Primavera is accredited and aligned to state and national standards. A high school diploma earned from Primavera holds the same value as diplomas from traditional schools and is recognized by universities, colleges and employers nationwide.
ACCREDITED
Primavera receives its accreditation through Cognia, a globally renowned organization. Earning a Cognia certificate involves an extensive review of the school’s organizational procedures, academic strategies, goals, improvements and stakeholder communication process.
Due to Primavera’s continued commitment to the Cognia (formerly AdvancED) Standards, Assurances and Policies, our accreditation term is extended through June 30, 2024.
According to Dr. Mark Elgart, President of AdvancEd (Cognia), “Primavera Online High School is to be commended for engaging in this process and demonstrating their strong commitment to continuous improvement.”
For more information on Primavera’s accreditation, visit Cognia and select “Find Accredited Schools” from the menu in the bottom of the page, then search for Primavera Online High School.
NCAA APPROVED
Primavera is approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) for numerous math, science, English, social studies and foreign language courses starting from the 2014-2015 school year.
Discover Primavera’s NCAA approved courses › (search ‘Primavera’ in the High School Name field).
Students who complete NCAA approved courses have the opportunity to establish their NCAA eligibility to play college sports. This means that any student who has completed approved Primavera courses dating back to the beginning of the 2014-2015 school year has the chance to participate in and obtain scholarships for college athletics.
Primavera is one of the few online high schools in the country to receive NCAA approval due to our constant teacher-student interaction and support.
NCAA Student Success Story
“I could not have pursued my tennis career the way I did without attending high school online. I was able to do all the traveling and pursue any opportunities that came my way because I could take my school with me anywhere I went. Primavera offered me the flexibility I needed, but the easily accessible help I got from my teachers is really what benefitted me the most.”
– Meghan Lyall, Primavera graduate and University of Utah tennis athlete and honors student
