At Primavera, we have students with incredible talents and those in the Art Club are no exception! That’s why we created the Art Club’s Corner where you can view fellow Panthers’ submitted artwork, comment and share.

This month, we’ve received some pretty incredible and unique artwork. Kate Gallagher and Shelby Beaugureau are Art Club members who have found talents outside of drawing–though, likely, they have that talent, too!

Gallagher is a painter and impressionist. Gallagher said she prefers to creates free style work from “the top of her head.”

“All of my work is hand done with paints or charcoal,” Gallagher said. “Some of my art looks more realistic because I do enjoy realism, but I also love the whimsical look of impressionism. I tried to show a mix of both through the pieces I have submitted.”

Our next featured student, Shelby Bureagureau is also an artist with unique talents. For quite some time now, the 10th grade student has had a passion for working with glass, and recently had the opportunity to start growing her talents.

“I have always loved glass blowing,” Beaugureau said. “And with the support of my awesome dad, I was able to get a small studio together and start experimenting.”

And with her experimenting came about some beautiful pieces of art, shown in the photos below.

While a drawing is always powerful, Gallagher and Beaugureau have shown that artwork goes beyond the pencil.
