At Primavera, we have students with incredible talents and those in the Art Club are no exception! That’s why we created the Art Club’s Corner where you can view fellow Panthers’ submitted artwork, comment and share.

This month, we received different types of artwork from two of our students. The first, in the form of photography– specifically with nature, and the second more of a character creation approach.

We’ll kick things off with our first artist, Annamarie Roberts who is in 9th grade and 15 years old.

“Nature really inspires me and I love being outdoors, every time I go to new places I love taking photos wherever I am.”

Annamarie says she used her iPhone 6 camera and lenses that she ordered specifically for her iPhone 6.

“There really isn’t a story behind the photos. The black and white one I took in AZ, I just really liked how they

[the palm trees] were lined up. The other two are at Huntington and Seal beaches in California, I really love the ocean so most of my photography is of the ocean,” said Annamarie.

Our second student is Alexandra (Alex) Atchison who is in 11th grade. She just joined the art club and has submitted two pictures of her work. Welcom Alex!

“I used the paint tool sai and a (close to dyeing) wacom tablet to draw both of these. The first one was drawn as a commission one of those virtual pet websites for virtual currency. And the second, “Huh what” is just a picture of my original character that I’m going to be making a comic about (well she’s one of the main characters) with one of my close friends!”
