On Thursday, December 13th, the SHHADE club had a wonderful event here at the Primavera offices. We all met in the main conference room for pizza, soda, a viewing of the hilarious Pixar movie, Monsters Inc., and to listen to a very special guest, Chy Johnson. Chy is a student at Queen Creek High School where she used to be severely bullied until the high school quarterback, Carson Jones, took her under his wing and changed her life.

She spoke to us about the tragedy of bullying and how her story is a beautiful example of how we can help each other in times of need. SHHADE had the privilege of having a Q&A with Chy where we got to ask questions and explore her story. The SHHADE Club was so thankful to have Chy be a part of the first official gathering, and look forward to many more inspirational nights of gaining perspective on the opportunities around us.
