What is AIMS Testing?

Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards also known as AIMS is a Standards Based Assessment in the content areas of Writing, Reading and Mathematics.

Who Is Required To Take The AIMS Tests?

Juniors and Seniors who have not yet passed each of the three content areas (Writing, Reading and Math) must re-test in the specific section until receiving a passing score in order to graduate from high school.

When Is AIMS Testing?

This fall the AIMS tests are scheduled for October 28, 29 and 30.

  • 10/28 – AIMS Writing
  • 10/29 – AIMS Reading
  • 10/30 – AIMS Math

The AIMS tests will be administered again at the end of February.

How To Register For AIMS Testing

This video provides step-by-step instructions on how to register for the AIMS tests.

  1. Go to www.primavera-online-high-school.com and login at the top right hand corner
  2. From the left side panel, click ‘Progress’
  3. Click ‘Testing’ and the AIMS tests will appear under the Required Tests
  4. You will be able to see the status of each of the tests, along with past scores
  5. Click ‘Registration’ in the top right corner to enroll in each of the tests you need to take
  6. You can view all of the available testing locations by clicking on the ‘MapLinks’
  7. Choose the location that works best for you, and note that ALL tests must be taken at the same location
  8. Choose the test time and date from the options
  9. Review your selections and click ‘Submit’ in the bottom right corner
  10. You will automatically be emailed your test registration confirmation, and you can print these details as well

How To Prepare For AIMS Testing
