“Compassion Is Important”

It’s not healthy

To hold a grudge

Because when thinking about others

We mustn’t ever judge

 

We don’t know what they’ve gone through

The failures that they’ve felt

It’s not about about how you play the game

It’s about the cards that you are dealt

 

Except this isn’t a game;

It is completely real

We don’t understand what happened

Or how they really feel

 

It is very important

To have patience and compassion

We often look at a situation

But don’t think about it in that fashion

 

For we are all human beings;

We make misjudgments and mistakes

Anyone who says otherwise

Is likely being insincere and fake

 

So do not throw rocks at others

Until you’ve thrown them at yourself

For only then we will understand the failures and successes

Along with everything else

 

In closing we need to understand others

As we have not walked a mile in their shoes

Therefore we should not

Accuse, criticize or abuse.
