If you are a student considering enrolling in online classes for the first time this fall, youโ€™ve come to the right place! Weโ€™ve addressed some common questions from potential new students below.

One of the most basic questions asked when considering switching to Primavera Online High School after maybe seeing our commercial on TV, finding us through a web search, or even being referred by a friend is: Do I qualify?
The plain and simple answer is, yes, you most likely do! There are few requirements to enroll at Primavera, and they are as follows:

Who can enroll?

  • Students must be residents of Arizona
  • Students in grades 6-12
  • Students must have internet access

After verifying that these requirements have been met, students should ask themselves if Primavera is the right alternative for them. The list of reasons to switch to Primavera grows longer each day as we get to know each new student and their background, and we can say with confidence that we have provided an alternative educational environment that fits every need!

Is this the right option for me?

  • Flexible, personalized, and structured academic schedule
  • Safe environment
  • Individualized attention from highly-qualified teachers, advisors, and guidance counselors
  • Access your classes anytime, from anywhere with an internet connection
  • Get back on track to graduate or get ahead and graduate early
  • Prepare for college through honors courses or dual enrollment courses available through Grand Canyon University and Rio Salado College

Some students might fear that after switching to Primavera, they will fall off the face of the earth in terms of socializing with friends. This is a valid matter to properly address for active high school students. Although students wonโ€™t physically meet with their classmates everyday, there are still plenty of opportunities to stay engaged with peers at Primavera.

How can I stay involved in social circles/activities?

Primavera Online High School is different than traditional brick-and-mortar high schools, as anyone would suspect, but there are also many similarities!

How is Primavera different from my brick-and-mortar high school, and what aspects are the same?

What if I decide that I want to go back to my brick-and-mortar school, or attend Primavera part-time?

  • Primavera is flexible when it comes to a studentโ€™s decision to stay, return to their original high school, or attend both schools concurrently.
  • Primavera is a fully-accredited Arizona school, which means credits earned with us are transferable to your brick-and-mortar school per State laws.
  • Part-time students have the option to make up classes or get ahead through part-time enrollment.
  • Primavera also offers free summer school.

We have worked hard to make the transition to Primavera as smooth as possible for students. If you are interested in enrolling call (480) 456-6678 to speak with one of our enrollment advisors or you can click HERE and enroll today.
