Formerly known as the Photography Club, the Art Club has expanded its criteria this year to open up to students who have an interest in any form of art.
Meet the club advisor:
Here’s what you can look forward to in the Art Club this year:
- More Inclusive
If photography is your passion, don’t worry! This club is still the perfect fit for you. If you are one who loves to paint, draw or even work with computer animation, the club now has something to offer for you, too. - Blog Showcase
A blog is opening this year to let students showcase their work and get constructive feedback from fellow Primavera artists. - Art History
For those of you aren’t exactly artistically gifted, but love to view and learn about art, monthly Adobe sessions are now held to view student’s work and talk about historically famous art. - Community Events
Exciting quarterly events including a trip to the Phoenix Art Museum, an art meet up and a movie screening at Primavera’s Blended Learning Center in Chandler will provide opportunities for club members to interact with each other while having fun at the same time.
The club will meet online at 6 p.m. every third Wednesday of the month, starting September 17. If you have a passion for art, whatever form it may be, this is the club for you! For more information, email Hieyam Abdu at [email protected]

This sounds great, I’ve been drawing since as long as I can remember, but only started to actually draw in 2007, been drawing ever since but I always look for ways of improving.
Hi, this club seems like it would be fun to be in. But the thing is, I’m not good at drawing which is why I would like to learn. I have always tried drawing people such as celebrities but they always came out like a 5 year old drew it haha. But was wondering if this class will help me draw the way I’d like to?
Hi Ahnika! Thank you for your comment. We absolutely encourage you to reach out to the Art Club at [email protected] so you can chat with them and see how you can grow and participate 🙂 They’re open for all! Let us know how it goes and have a great day!
I would love to join the Art club, I draw all of the time and would love to learn about animation and meet people who love art as well. How do I join though?

Hi, I would love to join! But the problem is I have an event every Wednesday at 7:30 >:(. Is there any way I can still get involved?
Hi, Rodrigo. Unfortunately, the Art Club no longer exists. However, you can check out the list of clubs available here. And no worries if you can’t make the meeting, You’re still welcome to join and attend in-person monthly events. 🙂 Good luck!
