9 Things That Rock About Graduating

Primavera’s Graduation Ceremony is happening in just a few weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited for our seniors! Although we’re sure you all know graduating from high school rocks, we’ve put together a list of reasons to get seniors excited and keep our underclassmen motivated. Check them out below.

1.You’ve accomplished something great!

Seriously! Earning your diploma takes hard work, and knowing you’ve crossed the finish line and accomplished your goal rocks.

2.You’ll finally get to attend the ceremony

3. The opportunities in front of you are endless!

Earning your high school diploma opens so many more doors for you! You can go onto a trade school, university, start a career, the possibilities are now endless for you thanks to your hard work.

4. It gives you an excuse to travel

Senior trip, anyone? Even if you drive a couple hours north and escape the desert heat, getting together with friends or family is a get way to celebrate graduating.

5. For the first time, you don’t a plan made for you. And that’s great!

Since you started kindergarten, a lot of your plans were made for you: You got to elementary school, then junior high, then high school. Maybe you’ve already set a five-year plan for yourself after graduation, but that’s the beauty! You now have to option to plan out and make decisions on your life.

6. You get to wear the cap and gown

OK, we’ll admit this one isn’t quite as glamorous as it looks. The hat falls off and the gown is too hot for Arizona weather. But knowing you got to wear the cap and gown is better than not having done it once in your life.

7. You get to celebrate with friends and family

Any reason to get to spend time with friends and family is always great! With graduation, you’ll be able to hold a party and enjoy being around the people you love.

8. And hopefully enjoy some gifts

Of course, there’s always the hope that when you do graduate, a nice relative or friend will give you a small gift.

9. You’re now an adult!

One of the best (and maybe worst?) parts of graduating is that you are now seen as an adult to many. Even if you aren’t quite 18 yet, finishing high school is something that will make you feel like an adult.
