With the the season of giving right upon us, we want you to know you can give back, right here! At Primavera, we encourage our students to interact with their peers by joining student clubs and attending our many school events. This year, our clubs could use your help so they can enjoy even more events and better plan our biggest event of the year: prom!

So we’re asking for your donations today. The best part: You can get all of your money back through a tax credit donation.

Donate to Primavera and Get Tax Credit 

Arizona tax law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows taxpayers a tax credit of up to $200 (or $400 per married couple) if they contribute to character education programs or extracurricular activities in public schools.

That means if you donate $200 to us, you can get a direct credit of $200 toward your personal income state taxes in April! Should you not owe any money in taxes come April, you can enjoy a check with your donation amount completely refunded. It’s a great way to help out Primavera’s students while reaping some benefits yourself! Find out more about tax credits here.

Remember to make your tax credit donations before you file for your 2015 taxes. In order to ensure your credit comes through for the current year, we recommend donating by December 31. We appreciate any and all donations and encourage Arizona families to consider supporting Primavera’s student clubs.
