At Primavera Online High School, we have incredibly talented students, and those in the Art Club are no exception! In this series, we feature work submitted directly from our students to help our talented Panthers get noticed.

It seems since history began, people expressed themselves through painting. From cave drawings to classic Renaissance pieces to modern-day ‘pop art,’ painting has always been an inseparable part of art.

Most recently, painting has come off the canvas and transformed to many different things, such as face contouring and realistic Halloween makeup. Last month, a few of our Art Club members tried out a couple face paintings, and we thought the results were fantastic! Check them out in the photos below.

Lexie Martinez, grade 9

“For 2015 Halloween I used face paint and fake blood for my costume. Also, some scar wax to help create scars and cuts. I had on a straw hat and a plaid type of shirt.”

Cheyenne Clark, grade 11

“My thing was a black widow. I used eyeliner, lipstick and eyeshadow.”
