At Primavera, we have countless talented, hardworking students. In this blog series, we highlight one of our exemplary Panthers.

This month, we bring to you the story of one student who didn’t wait to start achieving her dreams. From skateboarding to singing and ministry, Alexis is a go-getter who has accomplished many goals through Primavera. Check out her story below.

Alexis Stewart, Grade 11

aly-stewartAlexis is a 17-year-old Primavera student who loves to try out new things. Among her many hobbies include skate boarding, painting, volunteering and singing in her church. Alexis is also a model for RockinStreetWear, a brand ambassador for Alphatox tea and has already graduated from Hillsong Ministry School with honors.

With so many passions, it’s no wonder Alexis enrolled at Primavera Online High School. Primavera provided her the flexibility she needed to pursue her dreams while still working hard to earn her high school diploma.

“I became interested in Primavera because of its flexibility for all of my outside of school activities,” said Alexis. “I also found that catching up was easy because of how willing the teachers are to help. The classes are fun and I get better grades.”

Back in May, Alexis had a great opportunity to head to model for GQ magazine and attend a church conference. With Primavera, Alexis was able to work ahead on courses, and work on school while she was in New York.

“Because of Primavera I was able to travel to New York to attend the Hillsong Conference, an unbelievable, amazing experience that really blessed and impacted my life in a unforgettable way,” said Alexis. “I was able to work ahead and even still find time to work during travel, by working on my laptop at the airport, having my iPad to do work even on the subway or in a taxi, anytime. I love it how teachers find time to help and get back to me quickly.”

After graduating with Primavera, Alexis wants to attend an online college to study vocals (did we already mention she’s a singer, too?). We are proud of Alexis’s accomplishments, all while still working hard to earn her accredited high school diploma.

“What makes Primavera fun is the flexibility, great teachers, fun activities and that I’m able to achieve goals and opportunities at my own time. I am a proud student of primavera; I love it, and highly recommend it!”
– Alexis Stewart, 11th grade
