As a Primavera student, you switched to online high school for a number of different reasons. If one of them was a lack of belonging at your old school, Primavera supports you through personalized education and specialized student clubs. One club made to create a welcoming community for Primavera students is the Gay-Straight Alliance Club.

Formerly S.H.H.A.D.E. (Students Honoring, Helping and Accepting Differences in Everyone), the Gay-Straight Alliance is the same club, just with a new name. The club meets online monthly to let students get to know each other and discuss issues they’re currently facing.

Club members will also gather quarterly to attend events including the Rainbows Festival in October. There will also be events held outside of the Phoenix area so all club members throughout the state can be involved.

The club meets online every first Wednesday of the month starting October 1 at 6 p.m. To have a support group and an informal way to talk about things going on in your life, join the Gay-Straight Alliance Club. For more information, email GSA.Club.Primaveratech.org.
