Primavera students have the opportunity to take courses that earn them credit for both high school and universities in Arizona and throughout the country.
DUAL-CREDIT COURSES
Primavera offers several dual-credit courses that allow you to earn credit toward both your high school diploma and your future college degree. Learn more about dual enrollment and its benefits ›
Primavera’s Dual-Credit Program
Credits accepted at all Arizona universities and many other universities throughout the country
Offered in partnership with various community colleges throughout the state
May require additional tuition or other fees

ACHIEVING A COLLEGE EDUCATION (ACE) PROGRAM
The ACE program is for qualifying students who wish to get a jump start on college while working toward their high school diploma at Primavera. This nationwide program allows students to take college courses through a community college while in high school.
ACE Program/Course Benefits:
Smaller class size
More personalized attention
Access to a mentor
Students can earn up to a year of college credits accepted by all Arizona universities and many others throughout the country
In order to qualify for the ACE program, you must be a sophomore in high school and meet two of the following requirements:
First generation in your family to attend college
Living in a single parent home, foster care or temporary housing
Be a part of an underrepresented group
Going through economic hardship
Have a sibling or relative who was an ACE participant (legacy)
Be a teen parent
Work 10-30 hours a week
Voluntarily disclose physical/mental disabilities
Primavera has partnered with Rio Salado Community College, which means college courses are online. If you prefer to take in-person classes, you can enroll at any other Maricopa Community College.
