As this week comes to a close, we had the pleasure interviewing Ms. Konteh as Primavera’s Teacher Spotlight. With six years of dedication to Primavera Online High School, Ms. Konteh puts all of her effort towards two elective courses, 7 Habits and Character Education. Before teaching education, Ms. Konteh believed working in health care would best suit her since she loves working with people. She feels that Primavera discovered her, and is thankful that Primavera did. She states “After six years of working with Primavera, it’s not a job, but a career”. Ms. Konteh says she could not be happier. She loves working with her students improving their time management skills as well as guiding them to be more productive through the course of their day.
With each student, Ms. Konteh creates a rapport to better evaluate them. When talking to students she tries to connect with their lives by asking about their current hobbies and interests. At the end of the day, Ms. Konteh is proud to hear that she has helped students motivate themselves to take charge of their own education and to do something positive with their lives.

Hi Adriana!
I am not sure you will remember me but I was your English Tutor at Junior College. You became my student shortly after I lost my beloved Grandfather whose family came to the US from Slovakia; we immediately connected and I cherished the friendship we shared, and your absence has been keenly felt through the years. I have so much that I would like to tell you and I would adore the chance to get back in touch with you…if you even remember me as I have you over the years. I am hoping this message reaches you and we will be in touch soon.
Always, Karen
