The Panther Post features talented Primavera students with a love for the arts. This month, we’re changing things up by featuring videos that a student shared with us.

She has her own YouTube channel and shoots and edits all of her own work. Get to know Sheilynn Paige Simerly, 15 year-old Sophomore.

“The prom video was the first video I’ve ever edited. I’ve been wanting to start a YouTube Channel for some time. I saved up enough money to buy a Go Pro Camera so I could start recording content and found an editing program that was fun and easy to use,” says Sheilynn.

Sheilynn says she was really excited to have her equipment by prom so she could shoot her video. She thinks of it as her first “big thing” recorded.

“We ordered my camera the week of prom so I was thrilled when it arrived in time so I could record the event,” says Sheilynn.

Sheilynn says she likes creating videos because she enjoys the creative process and adding content to her YouTube channel.  She also says she thinks it’s fun sharing things she has done and really enjoys.

“I took lots of video of our summer trip along the west coast and made a video of my time at Venice Beach. My friend and I are also going to start doing the silly challenge videos that are popular on YouTube as well,” says Sheilynn.

We wanted to share her prom video here (below) with all you Panthers, but for more of Sheilynn’s content, check out her Paige Simerly YouTube channel.
