The Panther Post features talented Primavera students with a love for the arts. This month, we’re sharing an inspiring poem written by Primavera student Aubrey Kuhns, a junior here at Primavera, talking about overcoming life’s trials. Her work was discovered by an instructor here at Primavera who after reading her empowering words couldn’t help but to share.

“I wrote the piece because for most of my life I’ve seen people struggle just trying to survive. It’s for the people who don’t let the hardships faze them, it’s those people who can carry on. Many let the hard times overwhelm their lives, instead of getting past them and experiencing life to the fullest.”
– Aubrey Kuhns, grade 11

Move Along

Life is full of sorrow,

Your thoughts are full of woe.

So pick yourself up by your bootstraps,

And carry on down that treacherous road.

As Aubrey stated, life can have its hardships, but the important thing is that we continue to move forward. Especially to all our students working hard to graduate! Whether you’re graduating this July or still have a few more years with us, don’t give up! Finish off strong and earn your diploma. Primavera is proud of your hard work. Keep it up, Panthers!
